Pizzas with microgreens, parma ham, and mozzarella cheese may seem fancy, but it takes just a few minutes and 5 main ingredients to make! It’s perfect for a quick lunch or cut into slices for a party appetizer.
I’ve used the spicy cress and radish mix microgreens in this recipe, they’re one of the easiest variants to start growing. They taste like their adult vegetables too. The parma ham and mozzarella cheese marry so well with the fresh microgreens that I’ve generously decorated the pizzas with.
You’ll need:
· 4 Medium Wraps / Fresh Thin and crispy pizza bases
· 180 ml Tomato and Herb sauce (Homemade is the best!)
· 280 g Mozzarella, finely sliced
· 125 g Parma ham, torn into strips
· 80 g Spicy Cress & Radish Microgreens
· Extra-virgin olive oil, to drizzle
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 220°C.
2. Place each wrap/pizza base on a prepared baking tray.
3. Spread 45 ml of tomato and herb sauce on each pizza base. Top with parma ham and mozzarella and season lightly.
4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the base is golden and the mozzarella melted.
5. Let the pizzas cool for a few minutes before you top them with fresh microgreens, drizzle with olive oil and serve!
